My last two appointments have been 5 and 15 minutes long respectively, for things 100% covered by my health insurance (which I have verified via my health insurance company). However, the Dr. I saw continually incorrectly codes the appointments attempting to collect money for services that never took place. Both times they have had to correct my bill. Had I not called to question what all of the items codes they were billing me for meant, I never would have known that it was for something that never took place and I would have paid money for it too. I have never had this problem at my last 3 primary Alina clinics over the last 11 years.
My visit was with Dr Anne Roenberg for type 2 diabetes, I was newly diagnosed at urgent care and this was my first visit for information, prescriptions, and equipment. I felt comfortable with Doctor Rosenberg and with the intake nurse. They were easy to talk to and I felt well informed when I left. It was comforting to know I could ask questions via my chart
I wish I could select 0 stars. I was given wrong treatment by Dr. Van Valkenburg. It wasted my time and money leaving me in pain for 4 months.
Always have a wonderful experience with intake staff and providers I have seen.
I had tests completed 2-1/2 weeks ago and still no results after several calls to nurse and doctor (Rosenberg). If this is how they treat patients, it will be the last time I look to Allina to address my health needs. What good is a well-rated doctor if she never gives you the results or prescribes the medication that you need?
